Behind the Camera

Hi – thank you for taking the time to read a little about me.

I am a photographer based in Georgetown, Guyana. Whilst my main focus is on portraits, Guyana is such a beautiful country that getting out and taking photos of the people, events and nature is inevitable.

If you entrust me to take a photo for you, you can be assured it will be done with the utmost care and consideration of what you want, and with my guidance of how to make the most of the shot. When I take a photo, my aim is to tell a story from one image; the viewer should be able to feel that moment come alive.

I have always been interested in photography, something I picked up from my dad who would always have a camera handy when I was growing up. I have come a long way since the 1.3MP Sony Cybershot, although I have travelled around the world taking photos on my iPhone. For professional work, I used the following gear:

  1. Canon EOS R
  2. Canon EF 17-40 mm f/4 L USM
  3. Canon EF 70-200mm – f/2.8 L
  4. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Please have a look at my work in front of the camera and if you are interested in booking me for a job, get in touch to check my availability.
